Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Media Studies, or related field
• 3+ years in resource management, linguistics, or subtitling localization
• Experience working with global subtitling teams or language service providers
• Proficiency in subtitling tools, CAT tools, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Drive
• Excellent project management skills and experience with performance tracking systems
• Ability to develop innovative ideas to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage resources required for subtitling projects, including linguists, translators, and subtitling software
• Track and analyze performance metrics of linguist teams, identifying areas for improvement, work closely with PM team to set priority for recruitment and resource training
• Develop and implement new ideas and tools that enhance the efficiency of resource management workflows, with a focus on automation, productivity improvements, and quality control
• Collaborate with linguists, project managers, and vendors to address workflow bottlenecks and ensure a smooth and efficient process
• Work closely with the quality control team to identify quality issues, provide feedback to linguists, and ensure continuous improvement in subtitling quality
• Develop training materials and onboarding processes to help linguists adapt to evolving workflows, ensuring consistent high-quality results
• Use performance data and project insights to recommend resource allocation and process adjustments that improve overall efficiency
