Requirements

  • College degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in an office, corporate, or B2B sales setting or commensurate experience prospecting business via email and phone (OUTBOUND.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience with telephone sales calling techniques and etiquette within a professional B2B market
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research using Zoominfo, LinkedIn and other tools to prospect contacts and accounts meeting the Emburse ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
  • Contact and qualify prospects via telephone and email communication to ensure that Emburse products meet potential customers needs and requirements
  • Build and cultivate prospective relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to schedule introductory discussions with the appropriate sales team
  • Become proficient with company tools such as Salesforce.com , SalesLoft, etc
  • Work with Business Development Manager to develop and grow the sales pipeline
  • Deliver on key metrics, including but not limited to call and email volumes
  • Enter or update data for prospective clients in Salesforce.com

The Business Development team within Emburse serves as a crucial part of the overall Sales organization in building both sales pipeline and nurturing our next group of rising sales stars. On the Business Development team, you will have the opportunity to learn the FinTech software space from the ground up and work alongside our world class Sales team to cultivate new sales opportunities.

What You’ll Do
