Requirements

  • Proven success in the food sales industry, with a focus on seafood or hospitality
  • A strong network and deep knowledge of the restaurant and hotel scene
  • Passionate about seafood and sustainable food systems, with familiarity in aquaculture as a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Capture and cultivate a network of culinary talent by proactively reaching out via calls, social media, emails, and onsite restaurant visits
  • Market Research: Drive your own market research, identifying new chef leads and qualifying opportunities for the UK market
  • Database Management: Build, track, and maintain a database of chef contacts, creating a strong pipeline of leads to meet company targets
  • Relationship Building: Forge and deepen relationships with restaurants, chefs, and distributors to amplify demand for Kingfish across the region
  • Event Coordination: Organize and assist in chef tastings and industry events to build market presence and chef collaborations
  • Distributor Development: Strengthen and grow partnerships with current and new distributors in the UK to maximize our hotel and restaurant channel growth
