Requirements

  • Familiarity with the apparel, footwear, or accessories industries is a plus but not required
  • Experience working with complex organizational structures and matrixed environments
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify and synthesize key business insights
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft persuasive messages for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on prospective customers, via corporate filings, company announcements and secondary news sources, to understand their strategies and dynamic business goals, organizational design and key stakeholders
  • Create detailed action plans for key prospect accounts, including tailored approaches to win over decision-makers and influencers within the organization
  • Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to inform our approach to customer acquisition and growth
  • Collaborate with the President to create tailored communication strategies aimed at generating new business and expanding relationships within current accounts
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product) to align on customer engagement strategies that we can incorporate into communications
  • In partnership with Marketing, develop / evolve cohorts within our ideal customer segments, as we look to scale and make our customer communication and acquisition more efficient
  • Provide ongoing insights into broader market opportunities and challenges, guiding strategic decisions for revenue growth with MakerSights ideal customer profile
