Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of accounting experience working in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency and experience in ERP systems (such as Sage Intacct or Netsuite)
- Experience working with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist and own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across global locations
- Coordinate the year-end audit process, acting as a liaison with external auditors
- Prepare necessary schedules and documentation to support external audits
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and consolidation procedures for all locations
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting and other key accounts to ensure proper recording of transactions across all global locations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances
- Manage bi-weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees for our US and international employees
- Review and verify timesheets, manage employee benefits deductions, and handle payroll tax calculations and filings
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee compensation and benefits issues, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
- Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606/IFRS 15
- Manage the billing cycle to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered
- Monitor collections, follow up on outstanding receivables, and address any discrepancies
- Oversee the calculations, distributions and communication, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Maintain commission records, track performance against targets, and collaborate with Sales and HR teams to address inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Coordinate with the tax consultant to manage annual tax filings and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
- Support or manage any tax audits as needed, coordinating with tax authorities and preparing all required documentation
- Participate in special accounting projects and initiatives as needed
