Requirements

  • 5+ years in a sales support, inside sales, or sales operations role
  • Previous experience in the power industry a plus
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce), and comfortable with MS Office Suite
  • Experience in managing responses to RFP events and creating proposals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for clear and effective customer communication
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
  • Experience analyzing data, generating reports, and offering actionable insights to support sales strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs, providing exceptional service throughout the sales process

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of comprehensive proposals and quotes for potential clients
  • Support Commercial Operations team in distillation of inbound RFPs, internal outreach to stakeholders, and submittal of proposals to customers through various mediums
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity information within the CRM
  • Conduct handover process of executed contracts and received Purchase Orders to various internal stakeholders
  • Act as a point of contact for customers during bid process to ensure questions are answered and our proposal is appropriately addressing the RFP
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to support forecasting, performance tracking, and pipeline visibility
  • Evaluate existing sales processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency
  • Develop and maintain proposal templates ensuring that the sales team has the resources they need to succeed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent experience; MBA or other advanced degree valued but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in the energy industry
