Summary

Join our team as a Senior Director, Strategic Sales at 6sense and build and scale a market-leading Strategic sales organization. You will hire and develop a team of Strategic Sales Managers, create situational playbooks, and overachieve targets on new business and expansion.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of relevant sales experience
  • 7 years+ of people management and sales leadership experience
  • Proven track record recruiting, hiring , onboarding, and developing Managers and Strategic Account Executives
  • Experience coaching and enabling with a track record of developing A+ talent
  • Mastery of  Force Management (Command of the Message) or similar sales methodology
  • Advanced in dealing with ambiguity and complexity in order to navigate uncertainly and lead the team through change
  • Experience with creating sales plans , territory pla ns , account plans , processes and playbooks with cross-functional partners
  • Proven cross-functional partnership with Customer Success, Enablement, RevOps, Marketing
  • Domain expertise specifically within Sales, Marketing and/or RevOps
  • Proven track record in leading and coaching a high performing team to hunt new business and expand customer accounts
  • Executive presence in value selling to Enterprise CMOs, VPs, Demand Gen, Marketing Operations, and Sales leaders
  • Diversity evangelism and sponsorship
  • 30%-40% of travel required to drive deals and meet face to face with the strategic sales team
  • 4-year BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

  • Hire and develop a team of Strategic Sales Managers
  • Create situational playbooks and sales plays to land net new deals and expand within the customer base
  • Build tight partnership with Solutions Consulting leadership resulting in product feedback and development
  • Build tight partnership with GTM Enablement team to uplevel critical Manager and AE skills/competencies
  • Overachieve targets on both new business and expansion
  • Create a winning culture of high performing, and engaged team for Strategic Sales by achieving below average regrettable attrition and high AE attainment (90%+)
