Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee People Operations Ticketing System and Enhance Employee Experience
  • Manage and optimize the HR ticketing system to ensure efficient handling of employee inquiries and requests
  • Track and analyze ticketing metrics to identify opportunities for improving service delivery and enhancing the employee experience
  • Proactively address employee questions related to HR policies, projects, and benefits, ensuring responsive and positive employee interactions
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations and HR Business Partners to deliver a supportive and inclusive HR function
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR generalists and coordinators to ensure effective execution of HR operations
  • Provide development and coaching opportunities to create a collaborative and high-performing team
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and scale existing HR processes and workflows while balancing operational efficiency with employee experience
  • Continuously assess and refine HR processes, integrating automation and leveraging data-driven insights for improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline operations and eliminate bottlenecks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and maintain HR best practices to mitigate legal risks
  • Lead and manage audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the highest standards of data handling in all HR processes
  • Oversee and streamline HRIS processes to ensure efficiency and data integrity
  • Manage the rollout of new HR systems, processes, and benefits, ensuring smooth adoption and communication across the company
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key global stakeholders, including People Partners, Recruiting, Finance, IT, Legal, and People Managers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR processes and operational programs aligned with organizational goals
  • Leverage HR data to identify trends, assess key HR metrics, and provide actionable insights for decision-making
  • Spearhead and manage People Operations projects, from problem-solving complex employee issues to developing solutions based on data analysis and process optimization

About the Role

The Senior Manager of People Operations at Abnormal Security is responsible for overseeing and optimizing HR operations to support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will enhance the employee experience, streamline processes, leverage data to inform decision-making, and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, this role leads key HR projects, manages audits, ensures confidentiality in data handling, and drives process improvement for scalability and efficiency.

What you will do

Must Haves

  • 12+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, preferably within a high-growth tech company or startup environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a management role, leading HR teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience in building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics to drive strategic decisions.
  • High emotional and social intelligence, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across diverse groups.
