Remote Senior Manager, Product Finance

EvenUp is looking for a finance lead to drive strategic planning and deliver value-added business analysis to help uplevel our Product, Legal Operations, and R&D organization. You will collaborate with executives to define and report on meaningful financial and operational metrics to drive insights and data-driven business decisions. Additionally, you’ll work to analyze growth targets, capacity plans, potential cost efficiencies, with a focus on gross margins to evaluate and support improvement opportunities that will drive profitable growth at scale.

What you’ll do:

• Offer expert guidance, strategic recommendations, and influence to Product, LegalOps, + R&D stakeholders on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation, drawing on a deep knowledge of the company’s financials.

• Engage with Legal Operations [and EPD] business partners throughout the annual and quarterly planning process to develop comprehensive budgets that align with organizational goals and objectives. Including, but not limited to gathering insights, creating and measuring KPIs, and continuously assessing resource needs

• Partner with leaders across Legal Operations [and EPD] to help support strategic decision making and prioritize company initiatives through various ad-hoc analyses and workstreams

• Act as a collaborative partner by delivering timely reporting packages and offering insights into key business trends and financial performance for the executive team and board during our quarterly board meeting presentations

What we look for:

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, equity research, private equity, strategy consulting, or strategic finance

• Proven business partnership experience with executives and the demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership to various functions

• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and outstanding analytical skills, capable of transforming data into impactful insights and constructing or managing detailed financial operating models.

• Comfort working cross-functionally and are adept at communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiences

• Excitement about working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with an ability to adapt well to change

• Experience working in a startup environment, with an ability to balance strategic initiatives and operational execution
