Remote Standards Aligner - Math

Join our content development team as a part-time Standards Aligner and align IXL math skills to state educational standards, international curriculum documents, and sections of widely-adopted textbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in math, education, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards
• Strong knowledge of K-12 educational terminology and math content, with background in high school mathematics, including calculus, preferred
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret state educational standards and curriculum documents
• Identify the IXL skills that best help students meet the goals of each standard
• Evaluate how closely IXL skills match textbook sections; suggest adjustments to improve fit
• Format alignments as Google spreadsheets
• Assist in researching state and international education standards
• Collaborate with curriculum designers to determine the best possible alignments
