Remote Student Ambassador

Summary

Join a team of motivated high school sophomores and juniors as Ambassadors for the My School Votes program. Selected participants will expand the network, register communities to vote, and build community with other civically engaged educators and students across the country.

Requirements

• Reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Wisconsin
• Commit to the 8-week program with 5 hours minimum each week
• Register at least 100 people in your school or community to vote in the calendar year
• Host a total of at least 2 voter registration events
• Be a junior or sophomore (for the 2023 - 2024 school year)
• Be at least 16 years old

Responsibilities

• Expand the My School Votes network
• Register their communities to vote
• Build community with other civically engaged educators and students across the country

Benefits

$700 stipend after completing the full duration of the program
