Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or similar
  • Strong understanding of IP telephony (VoIP), TCP/IP Networks and related protocols (SIP, RTP, RTCP, ISUP, TLS, STUN, TURN, WebRTC)
  • Experience with Open Source VoIP applications such as Kamailio, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, RTPEngine, Asterisk and open source tools such as Wireshark, sngrep and Homer
  • Experience with Linux, Open Source tools and shell scripting
  • Experience with containers and automation/orchestration tools such as Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Prometheus
  • Familiarity with programming in Python, C/C++, Elixir are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering peers and other Product Managers to ensure business value and deliver on a constant basis, keeping in line with technical strategy and best practices
  • Synthesize requirements from customers and internal stakeholders into coherent Product Requirement Documents
  • Translate company goals and customer insights into a team roadmap and evaluate the squad performance via OKRs
  • Act as subject matter expert and point of contact for your product
  • Perform technical discoveries and vetting on external integrations
  • Break down large initiatives to deliver value quickly and reliably
  • Extensively test the features before giving them to the users
  • Be on hand during outages to drive their resolution and conduct post-mortems to prevent future occurrences
