  • SaaS experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the marketing ecosystem across vendors, agencies, and advertisers, with specific knowledge of advanced marketing techniques (linear TV, CTV, cross-media planning and activation experience preferred)
  • Excellent presentation and oral/written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating high-value net-new sell-side partnership opportunities across players such as media companies/publishers, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs
  • Evangelizing the Mediaocean product suite; deeply understanding and articulating its distinct value throughout the ecosystem to various parties
  • Creating and presenting business cases and due diligence for new opportunities
  • Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales and customer success to identify opportunities and determine product-market fit for proposed partnerships, as well as feasibility and roadmap to implementation
  • Attaining strong internal cross-departmental buy-in for new opportunities
  • Mapping, tracking, and diligently engaging across partner relationships to drive opportunities

The VP of Business Development for Technology & Media Partners at Mediaocean is responsible for striking and/or expanding key strategic partnerships with the media sellers of all kinds and technology platforms. The Mediaocean Partnerships Team is a specialized group of industry experts who develop and manage strategic partnerships with 3rd parties to support our various solutions across our suite of products.  These software products range in use cases from social media activation, linear and CTV solutions, media system of record for buying and bill/pay, ad verification, and global planning.

What You Will Do:

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships in advertising technology (e.g., DSP, SSP, ad server, measurement, etc.), at a media company (e.g., network group, streaming service, digital publisher, etc.), or in marketing (e.g., major agency or advertiser).
  • SaaS experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the marketing ecosystem across vendors, agencies, and advertisers, with specific knowledge of advanced marketing techniques (linear TV, CTV, cross-media planning and activation experience preferred)
  • Excellent presentation and oral/written communication skills
  • Self-starter, driven, motivated, confident, agile, problem solver, consultative, collaborative
  • Preferred locations: New York, Chicago, or California

$150,000 - $175,000 a year

Compensation listed reflects base salary. Additional variable/OTE to be discussed at interview.
