Summary

Join Eigen Labs as the Director/VP of Security to establish and oversee the organization's information security strategy, ensuring the protection of data, systems, and assets. This executive role will lead the security team, manage risks, implement cutting-edge security technologies, and foster a security-first culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field (Master’s preferred). Equivalent experience is also considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, such as CISO, Security Director, or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or Certified Information Security Manager
  • Proven ability to develop and implement large-scale security strategies
  • Expertise in risk management, incident response, and security governance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR)

Responsibilities

  • Engage with AVS developers at various stages of the development lifecycle to understand their pain points and address them with engineering solutions
  • Help in creating target output metrics for your team and manage the inputs to achieve them
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
  • Oversee cybersecurity policies, procedures, and incident response plans to minimize operational disruptions
  • Lead the organization’s response to security incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to address and remediate breaches
  • Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery and crisis management planning
  • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant security regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001)
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to align security policies with regulatory requirements
  • Foster a security-first culture across the organization by developing and delivering regular security awareness programs for all employees
  • Ensure that security best practices are embedded into the organization's daily operations
  • Identify and implement the latest security technologies, tools, and solutions to protect the organization from evolving threats
  • Oversee the security of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to ensure comprehensive protection across all technology platforms
  • Work closely with the executive leadership team to ensure security initiatives support overall business goals
  • Collaborate with IT, product development, and operations teams to ensure the seamless integration of security measures
