Summary

Join Greenworks as a Field Sales and Event Marketing Specialist and represent our brand by driving awareness through direct consumer interaction. You will be responsible for increasing sales and building relationships with retail store management to secure product placement. Training will be provided to become a product expert, enabling you to sell effectively in-store. Responsibilities include inventory management, event planning, and sales reporting. You will also provide store-level support for sales programs and marketing initiatives. This role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least one year of field sales/event experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of field sales/event experience
  • Motivated self-starter with high energy level. Able to interact well with others to build customer confidence
  • Build and maintain relationships with Retail accounts
  • Driver’s license is a must
  • Be willing to drive a truck and trailer
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales within a given territory
  • Assist with trade shows when necessary
  • Setup and tear down of demo events in store and at retailer’s corporate headquarters
  • Train retail staff on the benefits of greenworks products to drive higher retail POS
  • Work with Retail regional teams to schedule future events
  • Manage inventory of goods for sale and inventory of display models
  • Report on sales during event to summarize a daily report to leadership
  • Invest time regularly to learn Greenworks product
  • Provide store level support for sales programs, merchandising, and marketing initiatives by building displays, setting up product, displaying point of purchase material, and cleaning equipment
  • Gather, analyze, and present solutions based on market data or the competition
  • Implementation of tactical and strategic initiatives to develop and grow Greenworks brand position in the marketplace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience is a plus
  • CDL a plus
