Requirements
- 5+ years’ related experience in the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related area or discipline is required; industry designations or licenses preferred
- Strong relationship and negotiating skills among internal and external business partners and team members
- Excellent oral and written communication skills must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Proven ability in change management initiatives and advocacy in changing business conditions
- Ability to work effectively in a high demand and fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as an effective single point of contact for internal/external wholesalers to inquire about policies and procedures for key functional areas of the company, including but not limited to: Underwriting, Annuity New Business, Annuity Inforce, Commissions, Licensing, Websites, Corporate Mail, and Imaging
- Using wholesaler feedback, assist in developing new initiatives, communicate these initiatives to distribution, and obtain distribution feedback on new and existing business practices
- Assists operations with coordinating complex activities including product launches, process enhancements, and year-end processing
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key Operations staff in Licensing/Contracting, New Business, Inforce, Underwriting, and Customer Service to help provide and gather feedback regarding the business of our distribution partners
- Work closely with key Operations staff in Licensing/Contracting, Annuity New Business, Annuity Inforce, Underwriting, and Customer Service contacts to expedite problem resolution to provide exceptional customer service to distribution
- Educate wholesalers to manage their perceptions and expectations for home office processing in a positive and effective manner
- Provide back-up support for other team members so that the team maintains an “always a live voice” availability for distribution
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Must possess knowledge of Annuities, bank wealth transfer products, new business or inforce processing preferred
