Summary

Join Radiac Abrasives, Inc., a leading manufacturer of abrasives, as an Account Manager for Southern Texas. This field-based, home office position requires managing and directing all sales within the territory, building customer relationships, developing new business, and increasing sales volume. You will be responsible for developing and implementing account growth plans, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting marketing initiatives. The role also involves identifying new opportunities and providing market intelligence. Success requires strong customer relations, understanding market needs, and achieving annual revenue and profit targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years industrial sales experience
  • B.S. in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel to accounts 60% of your time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Well organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and a diverse set of objectives
  • Achieve goals with minimal supervision and guidance

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct all sales for a territory in southern Texas
  • Establish customer relationships
  • Develop new business
  • Increase sales volume
  • Develop/maintain strong customer relations and a deep understanding of market needs and competitive offerings
  • Identify new opportunities and work with the organization to position best Radiac solutions to meet/ exceed customer needs and competitive offerings
  • Achieve annual revenue and profit growth targets for the territory
  • Increase market share with existing customers by developing value added solutions to address customerโ€™s needs
  • Document and manage opportunities in the CRM tool
  • Develop and implement account growth plans that support the Companyโ€™s objectives and sales goals
  • Meet reporting requirements
  • Support marketing initiatives designed to increase revenue, gross margins and operating profits
  • Provide feedback to the Product Marketing Team, market intelligence with regards to product enhancements and expansion developments
  • Increase brand awareness and value by representing Radiac at local and national industry trade shows and events as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the metal finishing is a plus
