Join our client, a specialized Toys and Collectible wholesale provider, as a Sales Agent. This exciting opportunity allows you to shape marketing strategies and connect with customers passionate about collectibles. You will build relationships with B2B clients, stay updated on industry trends, and deliver seamless sales experiences across various channels. The role requires strong sales and customer service skills, along with a deep understanding of the collectible toy market. Success in this position involves exceeding sales targets, managing inventory, and representing the brand at events. This is a full-time, work-from-home position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage)
- Proven track record in sales, ideally within B2B, retail, or the collectibles industry
- Passion for and deep understanding of collectible toys, action figures, or related merchandise
- Familiarity with popular toy brands, franchises, and trends, including limited editions and exclusive releases
- Strong ability to close sales and consistently meet or exceed targets
- Proficient in upselling and cross-selling to enhance customer purchases
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with B2B and B2C customers
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations
- Proficient in managing stock levels, tracking orders, and maintaining visually appealing displays
- High attention to detail when handling transactions and recording sales
- Willingness to represent the brand at toy fairs, conventions, and pop-up events, engaging with collectors and expanding the customer base
- Basic proficiency with sales systems, POS software, and e-commerce tools for online sales
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a talent for engaging customers and driving sales
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and during peak sales periods such as promotions or events
Responsibilities
- Forge and nurture strong relationships with B2B customers by understanding their unique preferences and guiding them towards the most suitable collectible toys
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping informed about the latest industry trends, exclusive editions, and sought-after collectibles to offer expert recommendations
- Deliver seamless sales experiences across in-store, online, and event-based channels, ensuring smooth transactions and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor stock levels, suggest timely reorders, and emphasise limited editions to create a sense of urgency and exclusivity
- Represent the brand at toy fairs, conventions, and pop-up events, showcasing products and expanding the customer base with engaging presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in selling toys, collectibles, or similar products is highly desirable
- Familiarity with social media or online platforms is an advantage for promoting products
