Summary
Join Velocity Global as a Sales Compensation Manager and lead our Sales Compensation program, reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A. As the subject matter expert, you will be the primary administrator for all aspects of sales compensation, owning the system of record and plan. You will design, document, and drive the company's compensation plan administration process, focusing on scaling and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include developing collateral, training, and resources to support understanding and adoption of compensation programs, collaborating cross-functionally, determining sales compensation outcomes, analyzing program effectiveness, and supporting escalations or dispute resolutions. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (MBA preferred), 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, and experience with compensation management systems. The annualized pay range is $125,000-$175,000 USD.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
- Experience scaling sales compensation programs in a growing organization
- 5+ years of experience in sales compensation along with some experience in revenue operations, sales strategy or finance
- Hands-on experience with compensation management systems, including automation and system integration
- Demonstrated understanding of global business complexity
- Proven expertise in developing, administering, and communicating sales compensation plans
- Effective at building relationships and influencing stakeholders
- Extreme analytical and problem-solving abilities
