Summary

Join NEXT Insurance as a Sales Compensation Partner and play a key role in designing, administering, and analyzing sales incentive compensation. You will be responsible for accurate incentive payout calculations, maintaining and enhancing compensation plans, resolving sales rep inquiries, analyzing performance data, streamlining workflows, documenting procedures, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to present complex data effectively. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Finance, Sales Strategy, or similar roles with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau required
  • Proven track record in building and refining financial models for incentive planning and forecasting
  • Ability to navigate executive-level conversations and present complex data in a compelling way

Responsibilities

  • Accurately calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive payouts, ensuring alignment with plan design and compliance with company policy
  • Maintain, monitor, and enhance sales compensation plans and processes throughout the year to support evolving business objectives, while partnering with Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal leadership to shape long-term compensation strategy that aligns with GTM and revenue goals
  • Resolve inquiries related to quotas, territories, credits, and payouts from sales reps and managers with speed and accuracy
  • Analyze and validate transaction and performance data to ensure accuracy of incentive compensation
  • Streamline compensation workflows and tooling to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and drive operational efficiency
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training for stakeholders as needed
  • Support audit inquiries and ensure compensation programs are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Varicent, Xactly, Aeqium or other comp tools is a plus
