Summary

Join BDA, a top global Merchandise Agency, as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and help bring in new customers for SwagUp, an end-to-end merchandising platform. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, researching prospects, identifying key decision-makers, and building relationships. The role requires lead generation, creative engagement, and adapting your pitch to different audiences. BDA offers a supportive environment with the tools you need to succeed, while you own the execution. This is a remote position with a base salary range of $50,000 to $60,000, plus bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Sales & Prospecting
  • Proven success in identifying and qualifying leads that convert into new business
  • Experience researching companies to identify the right decision-makers before outreach
  • Ability to turn a "no" into a "yes" through persistence, strategic follow-up, and value-driven engagement
  • Strong A/B testing skills to refine outreach messaging for higher conversion rates
  • Proficiency in email campaigns, outbound sales strategies, and pipeline development
  • Self-starter & Ownership Mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative without constant direction
  • Comfortable being the sole contributor in a role, with access to leadership for guidance
  • Scrappy, resourceful, and able to figure things out with minimal hand-holding
  • Proactively seeks out new opportunities and creative ways to generate leads
  • Technology & Sales Tools Proficiency
  • Experience using Gong for call analysis and sales optimization
  • Proficiency in Salesforce for tracking and managing leads and pipeline
  • Comfortable leveraging automation tools and data insights to improve outreach effectiveness
  • Strategic & Adaptable Communication
  • Strong ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and industries
  • Quick grasp of business models and how to position solutions effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to capture attention and drive engagement
  • Confident in reaching out via multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, cold calls, etc
  • Results-driven & Resilient
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding lead generation and conversion targets
  • Resilient in handling rejection and adjusting strategies for better outcomes
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage open-lead list and relentlessly engage and follow up to move prospects forward
  • Build lists and reach out to net new companies that match our ICP through various channels
  • Curiosity to research prospects to speak their language and help them uncover value
  • Continuously develop your messaging to break through with prospects
  • Build the type of relationships with prospects that lead to trusted partnerships
  • Insatiable curiosity to quickly learn (about sales methods, our customers, their problems, our platform)
  • Analytical, able to slice and dice data and reports to understand if we are winning and how to improve
  • No ego, play for the front of the jersey, not the back
  • Willingness to put yourself out there on social media, such as LinkedIn
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone and call people
  • Desire to be a top sales or marketing professional
  • A passion to help customers solve their problems through our solution
  • Experiment and learn new ways to become more effective, such as through technology
