Summary

Join Deel as an SMB SDR and play a crucial role in breaking into new accounts and building relationships with various contacts within our target customer segments. You will understand the impact you have on the bottom line, performing a vital role in the company. Daily tasks include collaborating with the sales team, conducting market research to identify potential customers and leads, and qualifying these leads by understanding their onboarding approach. You will drive Deel's growth, qualify customer needs, consult with clients to expand product usage, educate and nurture leads, collaborate with other teams, meet targets, maintain accurate records, develop follow-up strategies, share customer insights, and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work autonomously and self source solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role

Responsibilities

  • Drive Deel's growth through inbound and outbound prospecting, generating cross-sell opportunities within existing customer accounts through targeted outreach
  • Qualify customer needs and schedule product demonstrations with Expansion Account Executives
  • Consult with clients to expand product usage and drive adoption through tailored solutions
  • Educate and nurture leads through various channels, including calls, emails, events, webinars, and campaigns
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to refine strategies and improve the customer experience
  • Consistently meet or exceed targets for meetings set, pipeline growth, and revenue contribution
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM
  • Develop and execute follow-up strategies to nurture leads and advance opportunities
  • Share customer insights to enhance sales strategies and contribute to the Sales Playbook
  • Stay up-to-date on product updates, market trends, and sales best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus
  • You are smart and work hard
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit/experience with a strong growth mindset
  • You have a way with words and can write email copy and sequence campaigns that convert
  • You are adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • You are an active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows
  • You have worked for an HR or Fintech company, preferred
  • You've worked at a fast-growing startup, preferred
  • You have previously successfully worked in a remote & distributed team, preferred
