Requirements
- The grit and determination for cold calling (ability to handle rejection, learn from it and keep moving forward)
- The ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and excel at problem solving
- Insatiable sense of curiosity
- Belief that change is essential to progress
- The desire to learn, to be coached and to grow professionally and personally
- Strong understanding of how to conduct outbound prospecting
- Demonstrated consistent, high performance in previous roles
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn and/or similar tools is a plus
- 1-2 years of SDR (or similar) experience is a plus
- The ability to work CST/EST hours
Responsibilities
- Research, contact and qualify leads for the Sales Team (inbound and outbound) that creates a robust pipeline
- Use email, phone and social media, contact prospects to articulate HiveMQs value and set up compelling discovery meetings with the prospect
- Create and evolve effective email and social media strategies for outreach to prospects
- Work closely with the Sales Team on support and execution on their strategies
- Build rapport with prospects
- Maintain a solid understanding of our software solutions, competitors and industry trends
- Create strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders
- Research and build new and existing accounts through rigorous multi-channel outbound efforts
- Work in a fast-pace environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team
- Track all activities in Salesforce
