Join Kpler's Sales team as a Sales Development Representative (Energy) and contribute to expanding our presence within existing customer accounts across the EMEA region. You will play a vital role in identifying new opportunities and driving growth by developing leads, researching clients, generating business opportunities, and working with the sales team to create tailored sales pitches. This position requires utilizing various tools for lead research, enriching the CRM platform, and exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of SDR experience in a B2B SaaS/Tech company, preferably targeting the Energy/Commodities sector in EMEA. The role offers flexibility with remote/hybrid work options, but requires occasional commutes to the Dubai office. Candidates must be based in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Develop leads through cold calling, cold emailing, and networking
- Research and map clients and target prospects in the industry
- Generate and qualify business opportunities through professional and dedicated prospecting via multiple channels using the BANT methodology
- Working with the sales team to tailor a unique sales pitch/value proposition to prospects
- Keep track of industry events to have meaningful conversations with prospects and contribute to the regional marketing strategy
- Use a variety of tools to research prospective leads
- Support Commercial/Account Managers with their lead-generation activities
- Enrich the CRM Platform (Salesforce) with relevant and precise information about clients, prospects, leads, and qualified opportunities
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Ideally, 1-3 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) prospecting and qualifying leads in a B2B SaaS/Tech company, ideally targeting the Energy/Commodities sector across EMEA
- Experience using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io , and Salesforce CRM is advantageous
- Fluent English. Arabic or other languages are a big plus!
- Experience with the BANT methodology is preferred
- Experience in researching, mapping, and prospecting accounts
- Confident in communicating over the phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Someone who enjoys empathizing with customers and building relationships quickly with new people
- Self-disciplined and motivated to overachieve your goals
- A team player with a commercial and solution-focused mindset
- Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs
Benefits
The role is flexible, remote/hybrid, but you must be able to commute to our Dubai Jumeirah Lake Tower office when/if required at least one time per week
