Summary

Join Lightspeed as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and be at the forefront of our growth, connecting with potential customers in North America. You will be the first point of contact, introducing them to our technology for retail and hospitality. This role requires proactive lead identification, qualification, and scheduling meetings for Account Executives. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams, consistently meet targets, and maintain accurate CRM data. Share insights to refine messaging and improve sales processes. This is a permanent work-from-home position in Manila.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or a call center environment
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets or activity goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Confidence using CRM systems and sales engagement tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or Salesloft
  • A tech-savvy approach with the ability to quickly grasp and articulate software solutions
  • Experience connecting with leads across multiple outbound channels—phone, email, and social media

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and connect with potential customers via phone, email, text, and social media
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives by clearly communicating the value of Lightspeed’s solutions
  • Act as the first point of contact and a trusted brand ambassador for prospective clients
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to shape outreach strategies based on real-time market feedback
  • Consistently hit or exceed activity targets across monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Keep lead information accurate and up to date in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Share insights and feedback from your conversations to help refine outbound messaging and improve sales processes

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with common sales qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, SPIN, MEDDIC)
