Summary

Join Oscar, a health insurance company built on a tech platform, as a Sales Development Representative. You'll support lead generation and acquisition for +Oscar, identifying and qualifying potential leads. This role involves direct contact with prospects, generating interest, and setting up meetings for the sales team. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Sales Operations and work in a blended work culture, with remote options available depending on location. The base pay is $66,400-$87,150 per year, plus employee benefits and sales commissions. This position requires experience in healthcare sales and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of healthcare industry experience in a sales role or sales organization
  • 2+ years of experience presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts
  • Reach out to prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their potential fit with our products/services
  • Schedule meetings or demos for the sales team with qualified leads
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system
  • Represent our product in the market at events / conferences as needed, which may take place during evening and/or weekend hours
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and feedback
  • Identify areas where we can improve tools and processes
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Prior work experience in a start up or healthcare technology company preferred
  • Proficient in Salesforce
