Sales Development Representative, Outbound

Join CompanyCam as an Outbound Sales Development Representative and be at the forefront of our growth engine. You will take ownership of top-of-the-sales-funnel activities, expanding our reach and connecting with potential customers. This role involves targeted outbound prospecting, building prospect lists, executing multi-channel outreach campaigns, managing outreach sequences, and engaging in social selling. You will conduct needs assessments, identify key decision-makers, collaborate with Account Executives, maintain accurate Salesforce records, and provide market/product feedback. The position is fully remote within the US, with optional visits to headquarters. Travel within your assigned territory is required 5-7 times per quarter.
Requirements
- 1β2 years of proven success in an SDR/BDR or similar outbound sales role, ideally within the SaaS or technology industry
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with comfort and confidence in high-volume cold calling and crafting personalized outreach messages
- Exhibit strong time-management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage your workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce is preferred), Sales Engagement tools (such as Outreach or Salesloft), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and G Suite
- Possess a coachable, resilient, and results-driven mindset with a strong passion for continuous learning and consistently achieving targets
- A strong ability to manage and prioritize activities across multiple strategic accounts
- A continuous growth-mindset , with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving

Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outbound prospecting and outreach within your assigned territory to identify and engage potential customers
- Build and refine ICP-based prospect lists by deeply researching target accounts based on industry vertical, revenue size, and technology usage
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns utilizing personalized sequences across cold calls, emails, LinkedIn (InMail and social selling), and video messages
- Manage and optimize outreach sequences in Outreach, including A/B testing messaging to improve open rates, reply rates, and meeting conversions
- Engage in social selling and networking by sharing relevant content , interacting with prospects on social media, and leveraging connections for warmer introductions
- Mine event and referral leads by collaborating with Marketing on attendee lists and proactively seeking warm introductions from existing customers
- Conduct consultative needs assessments to uncover prospect pain points, current workflows, and desired ROI
- Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders , mapping organizational charts within Salesforce
- Collaborate with Account Executives on messaging, participate in territory planning, and ensure smooth hand-off of qualified leads with detailed briefs
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce , generate performance dashboards, and provide market/product feedback to inform team strategy and product development
Benefits
This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year and is based on experience. Our average on target earnings (OTE) are around $63,000 - $73,000. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits
