Summary

Join insightsoftware's growing sales enablement team as a Sales Enablement Specialist and contribute to the success of our global sales organization. Design and deliver impactful sales playbooks, enablement materials, and scalable programs. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with go-to-market strategies. Become a subject matter expert on our products and services. Regularly engage with sales teams to understand their needs and provide support. Assist in managing our sales enablement platform and contribute to the measurement of program effectiveness. This role offers mentorship, exposure to various aspects of sales operations, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales environment, sales role, or customer-facing position (direct sales enablement experience not required but preferred)
  • Experience working directly with sales teams to understand learning needs, gather feedback, and support content development
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other Office Suite applications
  • Experience with sales enablement platforms (Highspot preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as SalesLoft, Outreach, or similar platforms
  • Basic understanding of sales methodologies and frameworks (MEDDICC + Value Selling, BANT)
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation abilities will be required
  • Consultative approach with ability to influence and achieve stakeholder buy-in at various organizational levels
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify success metrics and measure program effectiveness
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive sales playbooks, battle cards, and enablement materials that support our growing sales organization
  • Create scalable enablement programs and resources that can be deployed across multiple teams and regions
  • AI focused and up to speed on how to leverage AI in the enablement environment
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with go-to-market strategies
  • Maintain and update existing sales enablement materials based on market changes, product updates, and field feedback
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and sales enablement platforms to create professional, impactful deliverables
  • Become a subject matter expert on our products, services, and value propositions
  • Stay current on competitive landscape, industry trends, and business developments to support effective product positioning
  • Research and analyze market intelligence to inform enablement content and sales strategies
  • Support the development of competitive positioning materials and objection handling resources
  • Participate in product launches by creating supporting sales materials and training content
  • Regularly engage with sales team members across regions to understand their challenges, learning needs, and content requirements
  • Build strong relationships with sales professionals and leaders to ensure enablement initiatives meet field needs
  • Gather feedback on existing materials and programs to drive continuous improvement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams by providing timely, relevant enablement support
  • Participate actively in sales team meetings and enablement team initiatives as a valued contributor
  • Assist in the ongoing development, organization, and maintenance of content within our sales enablement platform (HighSpot)
  • Support the execution of enablement programs and initiatives across North America and other regional sales teams
  • Help manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for various enablement initiatives
  • Contribute to the measurement and analysis of enablement program effectiveness and adoption rates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or learning & development roles
  • Background in B2B sales environment, preferably in SaaS or technology companies
  • Experience with content management systems and digital asset management
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics and KPIs
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Passionate about supporting sales teams and driving revenue growth
  • Tenacious, confident, and self-motivated with strong orientation toward achieving results
  • Highly analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Adaptable and resilient in managing ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to understand complex business concepts
