Summary
Join SMG as a Go-to-Market Enablement Specialist and bridge the gap between product, marketing, and customer-facing teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring sales and client success teams have the resources to excel. This pivotal role involves developing enablement programs, creating training materials, and managing internal/external communications. You will craft compelling presentations, playbooks, and other content to effectively communicate product value. Success in this role requires strong communication, PowerPoint skills, and attention to detail. SMG offers a remote-first work environment, unlimited PTO, and a supportive team culture.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS company
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to understand and teach others about technical concepts in a benefits-forward fashion
- Willing to be agile and cross-functional
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of enablement programs that align with go-to-market strategies, including scheduling, organization of and assistance with materials, and in some cases, presenting
- Equip sales and client success teams with the necessary tools, content, and messaging to effectively engage prospects and clients
- Work closely with the product and product marketing managers to create and update go-to-market content, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use, GTM playbooks, solution overviews, videos, user documentation, FAQ documents, and emails
- Support the internal and external communications around product go-to-market activities by drafting and project managing emails, in-platform announcements, and SharePoint and website content
- Provide back-up support for RFPs by organizing and polishing slides and applying SMG or client/prospect brand standards as required
- Update product and positioning materials, including presentations, sales sheets, and internal training modules, as features and messaging evolve
- Help manage demo collaboration communities and other tools and materials
- Track enablement success across the organization for go-to-market enablement activities and make recommendations for improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Degree in marketing or communications
