Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related technical field
- Have 5+ years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering role, with a strong focus on blockchain technology or cybersecurity
- Demonstrate a proven track record in selling or supporting the sales of complex technical solutions, ideally in the blockchain, Web3, or cybersecurity industries
- Possess a deep understanding of blockchain technologies (Cosmos, Ethereum, Solana, etc.), smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and Web3 ecosystems
- Have familiarity with blockchain security auditing tools and methodologies, including static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks
- Possess knowledge of blockchain protocols and consensus mechanisms
- Have strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have strong technical aptitude with the ability to turn project requirements and technical dependencies into scoping estimates
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple client accounts and projects
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to sales
- Demonstrate a passion for blockchain technology, security, and the broader Web3 ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver tailored technical presentations and proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and showcasing the value proposition of our services
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to qualify and understand client needs, demonstrating our blockchain security services and how they address specific customer challenges
- Provide expert-level consultation to prospects and existing customers on our approach to delivering security best practices, vulnerabilities, and risk management in the blockchain space
- Engage in technical discussions with key decision-makers, security experts, and blockchain architects to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to provide technically sound project estimates and scope to ensure that client expectations are met and that proposals are technically sound
- Help define product requirements based on client feedback, industry trends, and competitive analysis
- Participate in blockchain and security industry events, webinars, and workshops to promote thought leadership and establish a company presence
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and advancements in blockchain security, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and educational resources
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients understand the evolving landscape of blockchain security and how our solutions can mitigate risks and enhance their security posture
Preferred Qualifications
Have experience in the DeFi, NFT, or crypto industries, with a deep understanding of related security challenges
