Summary

Join CRS Group Inc. as a Sales Engineer & Implementation Manager and lead the transformation of our Implementation function into a world-class Technical Services Department. You will serve as the technical and strategic lead on customer implementations, handling both pre-sales and post-sales workflows. This role requires hands-on experience with APIs, data analysis, and crafting custom implementation plans. You will collaborate with various teams, mentor team members, and drive customer adoption. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, communication abilities, and a proven track record in a data-driven environment. This is a remote position within the United States.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Implementation, or Technical Customer Success at a data or API-based company
  • Strong hands-on skills with Postman, JSON, and modern web APIs (REST preferred); familiarity with XML is a plus
  • Industry Experience and familiarity with regulated data products in the KYC, KYB, IDV, Fraud and most importantly Consumer and Business credit spaces
  • Track record of success in usage-based platforms or companies with per-API-call pricing models
  • Previous experience managing small teams OR a strong IC background with leadership potential and desire to grow
  • Able to translate complex datasets into simple, actionable insights and present them clearly to customers and stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented—can manage dozens of deals simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Strong communication skills with a mix of technical intuition and business acumen
  • Driven and self-motivated—always learning, experimenting, and pushing boundaries
  • Startup experience or comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical and strategic lead on customer implementations, owning both pre-sales and post-sales workflows
  • Operate hands-on in API tools like Postman and work with JSON payloads to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot customer data flows
  • Craft custom implementation plans and solutions based on client use cases, data needs, and technical integrations
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance and Sales to translate client feedback into customer activations, roadmap insights and scalable processes
  • Lead by example—establishing best practices, improving documentation, and mentoring other team members
  • Set the foundation for a full-scale Technical Services department
  • Drive customer adoption, satisfaction, and long-term value through data-centric storytelling and proactive engagement
  • Book and lead technical discovery and integration calls with customers, managing both the technical and human sides of the relationship
  • Be proactive, over-prepared, and always pushing for better solutions
