As a Solution Engineer, you will build trusted relationships with C-level executives, providing business and technical thought leadership. You will architect solutions leveraging trusted data to enhance efficiency and provide a competitive advantage, emphasizing data integrity. This role involves defining customer strategies, identifying opportunities, and accelerating solution adoption. You will act as the "Voice of the Customer," bringing insights to product and engineering teams. Precisely offers a work from anywhere culture and opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing role such as solution consultant, solution architect, or sales engineer, within a global software enterprise
  • Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels
  • Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing and pursue opportunities
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, presentation skills, and confidence in explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Precisely data integrity solutions, including data integration, data quality, location intelligence, and enrichment, exploring their various features and integration methodologies
  • Gather an in-depth understanding of the Precisely product portfolio and their applicability across diverse business models to beneficially cater to individual clients' and their customers' needs
  • Ability to understand how a wide variety of applications such as ERP, CRM, and legacy systems interact with each other in a platform technology stack/ecosystem
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities while working with multiple strategic opportunities and customers
  • Approximately 30% or more travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way with customers

Responsibilities

  • Define customer strategies
  • Identify and close complex opportunities
  • Accelerate solution adoption
  • Drive thought leadership and act as a trusted advisor for C-suite, economic buyers and key decision makers
  • Understand the customer’s business objectives, aligning the Precisely portfolio, and developing and articulating end-to-end customer transformation journeys
  • Lead strategy engagements, aligning with business priorities, design solutions, and secure technical wins by performing in-depth customer discovery and evangelizing proposed solutions through executive briefings, presentations, and solution demonstrations
  • Expand the Precisely footprint within existing accounts by introducing new capabilities and extending the Precisely presence to new global markets and business units
  • Act as the β€œVoice of the Customer,” bringing insights, trends, and opportunities to product management and engineering teams, ensuring they are prioritized for delivery
  • Provide thought leadership, creating content such as white papers and blogs, and engaging in public speaking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Precisely product portfolio, particularly those focused on data integration, data quality, location intelligence, and enrichment
  • Familiarity with modern and/or emerging technologies such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.), cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), AI/ML, generative AI & large language models, and their applications in solving business challenges
  • Extensive experience in a key industry such as financial services, insurance, telecommunications, utilities, etc
  • Strategic and creative thinker who can proactively identify challenges and maintain a positive approach when facing difficult obstacles
