Summary
Join Akamai's North America Sales Management team as a Sales Intern and gain valuable experience in a dynamic sales role. You will guide new customer sales, generate leads through various channels, and support the full sales cycle. Collaborate with sales managers and representatives, prospect for new opportunities using various tools, and update customer information in Salesforce. Requirements
- Be currently studying in a Bachelorβs or Master's program and graduating in December 2026 or later
- Be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision, be highly responsible and have effective communication skills
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable and productive in a fluid environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional sales managers and sales representatives to observe a deal through the entire sales cycle
- Prospect for new sales opportunities with tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, DiscoverOrg, Zoominfo and Insidesales.com
- Capture, update, and recording customer information and sales activity data into Salesforce.com (CRM)
- Research accounts and territories to identify new prospects that possess our Ideal Customer Profile
- Support attendance to webinars, public demos, and field events through outbound phone communication
