Summary

Join Glia's fast-growing team as a paid Business Development Representative (BDR) intern! This hybrid role in Salt Lake City, Utah (Lehi) offers a unique opportunity to work with assigned Account Executives, building a qualified sales pipeline. You will utilize lead-generation tools, conduct outbound and inbound business development, and participate in the Glia Sales Academy, a comprehensive training program. This internship provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and skill development in advanced sales techniques and technology trends. The role requires strong communication skills, a results-oriented attitude, and a desire to excel in a fast-paced environment. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Spring/Summer 2025 is a requirement.

Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of the lead generation process a plus
  • Graduating with your Bachelor’s degree in Spring / Summer 2025
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-focused business environment
  • Strong ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of potential clients and teammates
  • Driven, self-motivated and positive personality
  • Demonstrated history of high achievement in school and/or internships and jobs
  • Ability to learn quickly and execute ideas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert at using lead-generation tools such as SalesLoft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator and account-based marketing tools others to accurately create targeted lists of prospects
  • Conform to best practices for sales development/business development with regards to telephone calls, LinkedIn, e-mails, and conferencing calls with new prospects
  • Follow up on marketing qualified leads
  • Work with Marketing to craft the best follow-up strategies for Inbound leads
  • Work with your assigned Account Executives in Sales to build Outbound plans
  • Ask targeted, intelligent questions to speak knowledgeably with C-suite and VP-level executives
  • Coordinate meetings for Account Executives and log all activities in our CRM
  • Achieve monthly goals for meetings set and new pipeline opportunity creation
