Summary

You will expand WorkMotion's presence in these regions by deeply understanding clients' needs and acting as their trusted advisor. This role involves building and maintaining a sales pipeline, managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with various teams, and exceeding quarterly revenue targets. WorkMotion values work-life balance and requires applicants to be within 2 hours of the Central European Timezone. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of sales experience, be an outstanding communicator, possess a strong analytical mindset, and be a self-starter. Requirements

  • Proven Sales Drive: You have gained strong commercial insights through 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
  • Outstanding Communicator & Influencer: You know how to spark conversations, build instant rapport, and confidently engage decision-makers – including C-level executives. You're outgoing, energetic, and thrive on building meaningful connections
  • Analytical Mindset & Customer Focus: You combine sharp problem-solving skills with a deep curiosity to understand customer needs – and turn insights into impactful solutions
  • Self-Starter with Resilience: You take initiative, stay motivated under pressure, and keep pushing forward – even when facing “no.” Targets aren’t goals; they’re your baseline
  • Adaptable & Growth-Oriented: You’re positive, professional, and energized by change. You embrace feedback, love learning, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving sales environment
  • Language Proficiency: You speak (ideally Austrian) German at a native level and possess fluent English skills, enabling effective communication with a diverse client base

Responsibilities

  • Fuel Pipeline Growth: Proactively build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent, creative outbound strategies and by leveraging your professional network
  • Command Your Territory: Own the Austrian and German markets with confidence, managing the full sales cycle – from engaging qualified leads (SDRs, inbound, events, partners, outbound, etc.) to confidently closing impactful deals
  • Be the Trusted Advisor: Dive deep into each client's business landscape to uncover challenges and deliver solutions that drive real results, fostering enduring partnerships
  • Collaborate for Seamless Success: Work closely with Sales Campaign Managers, BDRs, your Team Lead, Customer Success, and Marketing to gain a deeper understanding of the market, ensure every new client experiences a smooth transition and immediate value realization, and continuously refine your sales approach
  • Elevate Client Success: Stay ahead of the curve, responding swiftly and effectively to prospect and new client needs to not only meet but exceed their expectations, turning satisfaction into enthusiasm
  • Surpass Sales Goals: Consistently achieve and strive to exceed your quarterly revenue targets by securing new business and amplifying opportunities within your newly acquired accounts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational Background & Business Acumen: A degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is advantageous; however, we also recognize relevant real-world experience that has shaped your commercial thinking and communication style
  • CRM Enthusiast: You have worked with HubSpot or a similar CRM and take pride in keeping your pipeline clean, organized, and fully up to date – it’s how you stay in control
  • Outbound Sales Experience: You have already gained some hands-on experience with creating your own pipeline and winning customers through creative outbound efforts – and you are confident in reaching out, following up, and creating momentum
  • Curious & Market-Savvy: You are excited about how businesses grow, passionate about SaaS and remote work trends, and genuinely enthusiastic about the Austrian market and/or the startup ecosystem
