Requirements
- 7+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including 5+ years in merchant services sales, including both inbound and outbound capacity
- Strong understanding of Interchange Plus Pricing, Tiered Pricing, Flat Pricing, Surcharge, and Cash Discounting
- Experience managing teams responsible for self-sourcing or prospecting own demand
- Proven experience managing a sales team of 5+ Account Executives
- Minimum 5 years experience directly Managing SMB individual contributors closing new business, at least 2 years must be managing remote reps
- Experience and demonstrated success in hiring and expanding a sales team
- Minimum of 5 years of daily Salesforce use and expertise
- Phone based sales leadership, experience using call coaching and recording technology
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed 100% team goal attainment
- Increase existing team performance through increased conversion rate, attention to activity KPIs and performance management
- Mentor and guide the team through coaching and shadowing
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Sales Team members
- Establish and manage processes and reports for tracking call activity, email activity, service levels, communication quality, and other key metrics with senior sales management to optimize team performance
- Actively use Salesforce CRM to lead the sales process, reporting, dashboards and set standards for performance metrics
- Collaborate cross functionally with our Marketing, Strategic Partnership, and Product teams to identify the best sources of leads
- Partner with Marketing and Enablement teams to create talk tracks, sales plays, and email content to ensure high quality / efficient communications
- Network, interview, hire and onboard to maintain a team staffed to meet demand & opportunity gearing ratios
- Partner with marketing to manage prospect research, list building, and lead loading into Outreach
