Summary
Join SimplePractice as a Sales Representative and contribute to our mission of improving the health and wellness industry. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will prospect leads, close deals, and build a strong sales pipeline. This role demands adaptability, excellent communication, full-cycle sales experience, a healthcare technology background, and a proven track record of closing deals. You will coordinate with marketing, build relationships with key stakeholders, develop sales strategies, and collaborate with internal teams. Utilizing Hubspot CRM, you will track leads, manage opportunities, and forecast sales. You will also provide ongoing sales support and stay updated on industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales, preferably within the healthcare technology industry (experience with revenue cycle management is preferred)
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficient in Google Suite applications
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Flexibility to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with marketing to identify potential leads and prospects within behavioral health private practices
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Product, to ensure alignment in sales efforts
- Utilize Hubspot (CRM) software to track leads, manage opportunities, and forecast sales projections
- Provide ongoing sales support and assistance to prospective customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are addressed promptly
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective customers
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to close deals successfully
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as needed
