Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B sales with 1–2 years in a sales leadership or team lead role
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets as both an IC and team leader
  • Strong grasp of sales metrics, forecasting, and CRM hygiene (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Passion for coaching and building high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable managing up, down, and across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and brings structure to chaos

Responsibilities

  • Leading by example in building and closing a strong pipeline of opportunities across all Finalis customer cohorts
  • Coaching, mentoring, and managing the performance of a team of up to 5 AEs, ensuring they hit their KPIs and develop professionally
  • Setting team-wide sales cadence and process excellence standards β€” including pipeline reviews, deal strategy, and forecasting
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Growth, RevOps, BDRs and other key stakeholders to align sales tactics with broader company goals
  • Iterating on sales strategies, pricing models, and market approaches using team input and CRM data
  • Driving a data-led sales culture with transparency and accountability at its core
  • Supporting new business line launches and helping shape go-to-market strategies in expansion markets
  • Facilitate regular AE team meetings, 1:1s, and strategy sessions
  • Work closely with the Director of Growth to optimize CRM processes, outreach campaigns, and sales dashboards
  • Provide strategic insights to the Director of Growth based on client feedback and market trends
  • Actively participate in hiring and onboarding of future sales team members

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of finance, investment banking, or private equity industries is a strong plus
