Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Admin certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder) is required. Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ) are a plus
  • Consulting Skills: Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Salesforce configuration capabilities, including workflows, process builder, validation rules, permission sets, and security models
  • Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies, project management tools (e.g., Jira), and managing multiple client projects concurrently
  • Industry Knowledge: Ability to quickly understand client industry requirements and how Salesforce can be tailored to meet their unique needs
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to present ideas to both clients and internal teams
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in analyzing business processes, troubleshooting issues, and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions
  • Data Management: Understanding of data management, migration strategies, and integration with other business systems
  • Experience with working in agile teams
  • Experience working in agile environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to gather requirements, assess their business needs, and recommend Salesforce solutions
  • Work closely with clients to advise on best practices for Salesforce implementation, optimization, and long-term strategy
  • Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand business objectives, pain points, and operational processes
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and actionable Salesforce configurations that align with client objectives
  • Partner with Salesforce developers, administrators, and other consulting team members to deliver custom solutions that meet client expectations
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communications, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope
  • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client teams, as well as provide end-user training to ensure smooth adoption of Salesforce solutions
  • Analyze clients' current Salesforce usage, identify areas for process improvement, and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and performance
  • Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features, consulting trends, and market needs to provide forward-thinking solutions to clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce deployment tools like Copado or CheckMarx is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of industry-specific Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Services Cloud, etc.) is beneficial
  • Experience in a Federal Consulting role
  • Experience conducting business process re-engineering and change management initiatives for clients
