Summary

Join a global health-tech organization as a Scheduling Coordinator & Clinical Utilization Specialist, optimizing patient and staff schedules, managing scheduling using Athena EMR, and coordinating telehealth and in-person appointments. This role requires close coordination with logistics and sales teams to meet patient care and business objectives.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with Athena EMR for scheduling and data management
• Medical scheduling experience, preferably in physical therapy or healthcare
• Familiar with Monday.com and clinical utilization to optimize staff and resources

Responsibilities

• Manage provider schedules, adjusting for patient load, clinical priorities, and urgent cases to ensure efficient use of time and resources
• Coordinate telehealth and in-person appointments to avoid overlaps and maximize staff availability
• Collaborate with physical therapists and clinical staff to adjust schedules based on patient needs and PT availability
• Regularly review schedules to reduce patient wait times and fill service gaps
• Serve as the main contact for scheduling inquiries, confirmations, and rescheduling, ensuring prompt resolution of conflicts
• Ensure all follow-up appointments are scheduled and managed effectively to meet patient care goals
