Summary
The job description is for a Senior Scheduler position in construction infrastructure projects at PMA Northern California office. Requirements
- Minimum 5 plus years of experience in project or program schedule on large capital improvement programs required
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field required
- Advanced experience in software, including, but not limited to, Primavera P6 and MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
- Understanding the theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering and scheduling required
- Skilled in communicating effectively orally and in writing required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedule preparation based on defined project execution philosophies
- Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance
- Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule
- Perform time impact analysis on schedule fragments
- Participate in change order negotiations and perform critical path and earned value analyses
- Identify schedule-related problems that arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions
- Conduct construction/project site visits for progress reporting
- Review contractor weekly and monthly schedule progress
- Prepare a narrative of findings and submit and present to management for decision making
- Review and evaluate contractor recovery schedules
- Perform cost analysis in support of design and construction phases of capital projects
- Analyze actual expenditures versus budget performance
- Prepare cost-loaded schedules to support comprehensive cash flow projections
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with water/wastewater treatment construction projects preferred
