Patient Scheduling Coordinator

Summary

Join Imagen Technologies, a high-growth healthcare startup, as a Patient Scheduling Coordinator! You will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing appointments. This remote-first position requires scheduling experience in a healthcare setting and proficiency with scheduling software (ideally Epic). You'll coordinate appointments, communicate with external groups, and handle pre-authorization. The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and excels in conflict resolution. Requirements

• Able to work 8am-5pm MT Monday-Friday, with the flexibility to work outside of these hours when needed
• Have a High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Have 6+ months of experience with scheduling in healthcare, medical office
• Experience using Epic
• Experience with computers including Windows-based programs and Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including reminder calls
• Coordinate with external groups/physicians/hospitals to set up and confirm scheduling for procedures
• Provide patients with direction on applicable pre- and post-exam preps
• Coordinates pre-authorization with the clinic and accurately input procedure codes for billing purposes
• Answer telephone calls in accordance with guidelines and perform clerical duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned
