The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in growth and performance marketing within SaaS, strong analytical skills, and exceptional leadership abilities.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in growth and performance marketing, ideally within SaaS and managing global campaigns
  • Proven track record of scaling digital acquisition channels, including search, social, video and programmatic, with a strong focus on ROI and efficiency in a high volume PLG or subscription-based environment
  • Deep understanding of marketing funnels, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization best practices, especially for free-trial funnels
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and attribution modeling for subscription or recurring revenue models
  • History of developing creative ecosystems needed to fuel paid media success
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a history of building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong experience in full-funnel optimization, including acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion within a SaaS or subscription-based business
  • Expert with ad management platforms and analytics tools
  • Strong executive presence

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing roadmap aligned with overarching company objectives and the PLG strategy
  • Create strategy and plan to scale paid media channels efficiently, achieving CAC & CAC payback targets
  • Lead a small team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Manage and optimize paid digital channels to drive qualified sign-ups and maximize ROI
  • Lead SEO/SEM strategy to enhance organic discoverability and acquisition metrics
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to create processes and systems that increase creative velocity and drive a high impact
  • Continuously test new channels, creative variations, and messaging to uncover high-impact opportunities for customer growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Engineering) to drive funnel improvements, ensuring a seamless new user journey
  • Collaborate with Product and UX to refine onboarding flows, increase conversion and reduce churn
  • Implement A/B and multivariate testing to optimize user experiences, conversion and ROI
  • Own analytics frameworks and attribution models to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, channels, and product-led growth efforts
  • Leverage data insights to optimize spend, forecast results, and inform strategic decisions
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales to develop a cohesive growth plan that aligns with product roadmaps and go-to-market initiatives
  • Collaborate with Data/Analytics teams to ensure proper instrumentation of events, funnels, and KPIs that reflect user behavior in a PLG environment
  • Manage the performance marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support company objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Product, Sales, and Finance) to align growth efforts with overall company priorities and revenue targets
  • Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to the executive team
  • Manage external agencies that support our growth strategy and plans
