Requirements

- Associates degree required
- Top Secret Clearance required
- Proven experience in government or military security management
- Strong familiarity with security guidance around ITAR, export and import of data, and associated forms
- Strong understanding of AFRL, DoD, and other government security guidance and compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage security guidance and recommendations in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure the compliance and security of the organization initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communications with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Provide security management such as Information protection and Antiterrorism/Force Protection to AFRL
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams and drive data-driven recommendations to meet organizational goals
- Manage secure and classified information to ensure restricted access to foreign nationals or unapproved personnel
- Comply with the U.S. State Departmentโs International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Arms Export Control Act, Defense Trade Security Initiatives, United States Air Force, and Department of Defense policies regarding ITAR and data sharing
- Maintain secure facilities in accordance to USAF and AFRL operating requirements
- Conduct security related studies and analyses as requested or required
- Assist the Chief of Information Protection to ensure programmatic initiatives and processes are aligned with government security policies and requirements, including DoD, USAF, and Major Command
- Provide security input and written guidance for Sate of Work, Statement of Objectives, CONOPS, ST&E, and other types of written products
- Prepare DD form 254s for signature routing and coordination with the appropriate USG agency
- Initiate and submit an AF Form 2583, Request for Personnel Security Action
- Prepare and communication Security Classification/Declassification Guides and other security mitigation documentations for AFRL programs
- Provide security support and guidance in processing investigative paper work
- Document and validate background information of AFRL program personnel
- Monitor and report security violates in accordance to AFRL guidelines and requirements
- Provide administrative support to the Chief of Information Protection in preparing reports and recommendation process improvements
- Provide administrative support by coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and organizing action items
- Prepare reports using Management Internal Control Toolset and Inspector General Evaluation Management System applications
