Summary

Join New Era Technology as an HR Specialist in Hyderabad, India, supporting our Malaysia operations. This role involves managing payroll, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations, and handling various HR operational tasks. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, providing support to employees and contributing to HR initiatives. The position requires 3-6 years of HR experience with Malaysian operations exposure and a strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws. A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required. Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to Malaysia HR operations
  • Sound understanding of Malaysia’s labor laws and statutory requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience in payroll, attendance, and compliance management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with HRMS/payroll systems
  • Proven ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process monthly payroll, attendance, and timesheets for employees based in Malaysia
  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysia’s statutory regulations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.)
  • Handle HR operational tasks including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and maintaining accurate employee records
  • Coordinate with local Malaysian vendors, consultants, and service providers for HR-related processes
  • Provide timely support to employees in resolving HR queries and ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Admin teams to ensure accurate processing of employee-related data and reports
  • Support internal audits, compliance documentation, and any other regional HR initiatives
  • Assist in driving employee engagement and communication initiatives for Malaysia-based teams
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in handling HR data

Preferred Qualifications

Post-graduate diploma or certification in HR will be considered an added advantage
