Join Nethermind's Security Apprenticeship Program, a 3-month paid program for PhD graduates (or Master's graduates with relevant experience) focused on smart contract security. Apprentices will engage in directed and independent research, conduct code audits, and report vulnerabilities. Requirements

• A PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; or a Master's degree with relevant experience in security
• A passion for the blockchain space and decentralization
• Basic knowledge of the Solidity programming language
• A basic understanding of Ethereum or other EVM-based blockchains
• A keen interest in analyzing complex problems
• Interest in developing adversarial thinking and a hacker mindset
• Above-average attention to detail
• Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Responsibilities

• Engage in directed and autonomous studies across various topics, with a focus on smart contract security
• Collaborate with leading blockchain security researchers, benefiting from mentorship, continuous coaching, and access to their expertise
• Undertake an independent research project on an area of mutual interest
• Conduct hands-on code audits using our methodologies and techniques
• Provide verbal and written reports on identified vulnerabilities
