Join april's sales team as a Senior Account Executive and significantly contribute to the company's sales strategy, focusing on the fintech vertical. Reporting to the President and COO, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and onboarding new clients. You will leverage account-based sales strategies and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. This is a hunter role targeting net new logos, requiring proven success in B2B SaaS sales within the fintech industry. Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience selling B2B SaaS with an exceptional track record of hitting quota, specifically within the fintech landscape
- Excellence in discovery, solution positioning, and building business cases that resonate with executive buyers
- Experience in negotiating and closing SaaS deals in the $100K - 500K range
- A solid understanding of how to help buyers navigate and manage their internal purchasing processes
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to speak to the โC-Suiteโ - you can walk into a boardroom and own a meeting with calm confidence and an aura of knowledge
- A drive to innovate and think creatively
Responsibilities
- Hunt new business: Prospect to build a robust pipeline and develop key relationships
- Close new business: Develop and manage your own book of business and be compensated for your success in driving the organizationโs growth. This is a hunter role that targets net new logos
- Become an april product expert and assist buyers through the purchasing process by qualifying, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities
- Leveraging Account-based Sales, determine the most effective methods to open new prospects leveraging previous successes and earned relationships
- Meet with customers in-person (and now remotely) to build strong relationships while partnering with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive the business forward, as well as build strong internal relationships for long-term customer success
- Update Salesforce to document all activities on opportunities and follow-ups
Benefits
Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 (base salary)
