Summary

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of sales experience with a strong track record of new business acquisition in mid-market and/or enterprise accounts
  • Proven ability to manage multi-threaded, complex sales cycles from prospect to close
  • Experience navigating $1M+ annual quota environments
  • Adept with tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort engaging C-level stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a competitive edge, high integrity, and a passion for winning

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales process with a focus on new business acquisition in the sports vertical
  • Prospect into professional sports leagues, teams, colleges, and sports technology organizations to build pipeline and close deals
  • Manage deals averaging $75K+ in ARR, with sales cycles typically 2–3 months
  • Target accounts aligned with enterprise quota expectations of $1.2M annually
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene
  • Engage stakeholders at multiple levels, including executive decision-makers and business/technical users
  • Partner cross-functionally with SDRs, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to drive vertical strategy
  • Stay current on industry trends, evolving customer needs, and the competitive landscape
  • Travel as needed for customer meetings, key industry events, or team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or selling to sports or entertainment clients is strongly preferred
  • Strong network in major league or collegiate athletics a plus
  • Background in fan engagement, ticketing tech, sponsorship, or related areas in sports business
