Summary
Join FastSpring as a Sr. Account Executive and significantly contribute to our financial goals by focusing on new business development and driving sales. Execute the sales plan, identifying, qualifying, and presenting solutions to prospective clients. The position offers a high potential to impact global growth within a rapidly expanding market. This role is focused on new business development and driving the sales process with clients.
Requirements
- Confident communicator; strong written and verbal skills are critical
- Self-starter, capable of staying focused in a fast-paced sales environment; can manage time effectively and work independently
- Ability to sell, influence, and negotiate with prospects to move through the sales process
- Ability to effectively multi-thread within an account to sell wide and high to key stakeholders
- Sales experience within high-growth software environments selling a technical product or selling into a technical buyer
- 4+ years quota carrying sales experience, in payments/payment solutions or ecommerce software
- Demonstrated consistent performance in a prior new business role with top performer results
- Sales tech stack experience: Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, 6sense, Loom/Soapbox
- GSuite products and online business tools
Responsibilities
- Heavy focus on new business and prospecting efforts with targeted customers/prospects in partnership with the SDR team
- Prospect, identify, develop, negotiate and, ultimately, close new customers to reach stated sales goals
- Sales responsibility with a “hands-on” approach working strategic deals and technical/complex sales cycles
- Monitor metrics with the goal to increase productivity and contributions to pipeline and bookings
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with other internal resources (ie. Sales Engineers, Director)
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement marketing initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of web technologies and digital e-commerce software; a plus
- Experience working in a start-up environment or ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree, marketing or business preferred
Benefits
- This role carries an annual on-target earnings (OTE) of €150,000, comprised of a base salary of €90,000 plus a variable sales commission component of €60,000, which is uncapped with accelerators
- This position is remote-first within Ireland, with occasional business travel to Dublin and across EMEA for tradeshows and team events
