Summary

The position is for a Sales professional to develop and execute the sales strategy for Scaler, a mission-driven startup offering data tools for net-zero carbon real estate. The main responsibility is to attract new clients and build relationships with partners in the real estate sector. Requirements include 5+ years of successful sales experience in investment, asset management or financial sector, a Bachelor's degree, self-motivation, relationship building skills, extensive CRM software experience, strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, industry networks, and fluency in English.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in successful attainment of sales targets within the investment, asset management or financial sector. Experience with ESG and/or Real Estate sectors is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as investment, real estate, infrastructure, business, economics or sustainable finance
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result- and mission-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Extensive experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive)
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple opportunity pursuits at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, commercial and interpersonal skills
  • Strong industry networks and the ability to further develop these
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy that meets (or preferably exceeds) our growth targets
  • Increase client base by identifying and managing a pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Build and establish productive relationships with leads
  • Provide sales input on market needs and pricing to ensure product success
  • Partner with consultants and potential clients to understand their business needs and objectives, feeding these into the product development process
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of market trends and needs and use that to help guide or product roadmap
  • Represent Scaler at external international events, conferences, working groups, etc
